Ocean Jasper is a trademarked name for a multicolored stone from Madagascar, typically with spherical patterning. Although commonly described as an orbicular jasper, the most recent research suggests it is the mineral chalcedony instead. Some pieces have agate banding or druses of clear quartz, a coating of tiny crystals, known more commonly as “druzy”.
This cabochon features a white calcendony structure with well definted "orbs" of green and yellow. In this case, the orbs resemble flowers.
The pendant measures approximately 2 1/2 inches long from the top of the bail to the bottom and is roughly an inch wide. It will arrive on the pictured 18 inch chain, and comes in a decorative box with a beautiful satin bow.
