Antiquorum X

Archeologists know the Egyptians worked malachite perhaps as early as 4,000 BCE. They’ve found mines from that era in the Sinai. It has long been known as the merchant's stone, believed to be good luck in areas of business and profit. The remarkable green color makes it attractive and bold, a beautiful stone in its own right. This cabochon has the addition of solid copper wire work surrounding it. hand crafted to hold the stone securely in place and patinated to give an antique warmth. The wire is polished to a high lustre for added refinement. The piece includes a standard 18 inch waxed linen cord, but upgrades are also available. The pendant measures approximately 2 1/4 inches long and 7/8 inches wide.
