Antiquorum II

Labradorite is a member of the Feldspar family and is treasured for its remarkable play of color, known as labradorescence. The stone, usually gray-green, dark gray, black or grayish-white, is composed in aggregate layers that refract light as iridescent flashes of peacock blue, gold, pale green, or coppery red. This particular piece has a lot of teal with some orange and gold undertones. The carving was done free hand by a talented lapidary artist. The copper wire weaving has a rich patina, added to bring out the detail, give some depth, and add to the antique feeling of the piece. Truly a treasure, and an instant heirloom, the pendant measures approximately 2 1/2 inches long and 7/8 inch wide. It comes with a standard 18 inch waxed linen cord, which may be upgraded to chain or leather at your discretion.
